The Crazy Horse Memorial scholarship program:
Eligible applicants must be American Indian students who plan to attend, or are attending, tribal or state colleges, universities, nursing schools or vocational-technical schools located only in the state of South Dakota. In 2008, the fund disbursed over $170,000 in educational assistance to students who met this criteria.

The Mary Cone Barrie scholarship
Scholarship is available to any student currently enrolled in a course or program through the continuing education division of any American or Canadian accredited college or university. As the Director of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto, Dr. Mary Cone Barrie specialized in the art and science of teaching adults. Mary was committed to the community, learning, and the implications of technology on adult learners. Oscar Howe Native American Summer Art Institute
The Oscar Howe Summer Art Institute (OHSAI) is open to high school students with a demonstrated interest in the visual arts and American Indian culture. Each summer the Institute provides workshops for a small group of talented and committed art students to learn about contemporary Native American Fine Arts with a focus on Native American culture, history and traditions. All courses are taught by impressive professional artists and all students attend free of charge, including food, housing, instruction and art supplies.
